DONATE TO WIN
@risestjames is a faith-based environmental activist organization led by Sharon Lavigne that works to protect St. James Parish against petrochemical expansion. We are raising funds to support their fight against Formosa and environmental racism in Louisiana.
You can help by donating for a chance to win this painting, collaboratively made during the Hope Springs Eternal event by dancers, musicians, artists, and 50+ supporters of RISE St. James, using earth gathered from the land they are fighting to protect.
$10 donation = 1 raffle ticket
100% of proceeds to support RISE St. James
This collective expression of grief and resistance is made by community, for community, in support of community. In this spirit, the “winner” of the raffle will become the steward of the painting, caring for its message within their home and by allowing it to be shown publicly whenever possible.
The fundraiser kicks off Monday, October 14 and closes at midnight on Monday, October 21! 🗓️
Please share widely to support this vital cause for a brighter future in St. James Parish.
